When it comes to protecting your eyes and the sensitive skin around them, Electric’s melanin-infused lenses do it best. Featured in all of our sunglasses, melanin blocks 98% HEV blue light, provides crisp vision and a heightened level of defense, all while delivering 100% UVA/UVB protection.
Frame Materials
California design, made in Italy, our sunglasses are available in lightweight Grilamid, Mazzucchelli acetate or surgical grade stainless steel.
Grilamid
Lightweight and flexible, our featherweight Grilamid® injected frames are impact resistant and maintain high flexibility.
Mazzucchelli™ Acetate
We work with best-in-class partners like Mazzucchelli™; a centuries-old, family-run, Italian-based, industry leader in acetate materials and technologies. Acetate is known to be durable, flexible and is available in a wide variety of rich colors and patterns.
Wire
Our access to the most experienced Italian-based, premium factory results in finely-honed finishes and detailing. Each of Electric wireframes utilizes surgical grade stainless steel, meaning they are non-corrosive, hypoallergenic, lightweight and durable.
Pro Line
Superior fit and finish. The Pro Line features frameless vision, performance-coated lenses, dual-action hinges, featherweight construction, flexible impact-resistant frames, sunglass leash holes, non-slip nose pads and performance grip temple tips.
Sport Line
Performance-enhancing features on some of our most popular styles. Our Sport Line features dual-action hinges, featherweight construction, flexible impact-resistant frames and non-slip nose pads.
4 Base Curve
Typically found in fashion, lifestyle and optical frames, 4 base is our flattest lens offering.
6 Base Curve
With just a slight curve, the 6 base offers great coverage for active lifestyles and fashion frames alike.

Ideal for higher activity uses the 8 base hugs the curves of your face for an optimal fit.
Polycarbonate Lens
All of our Grilamid frames use Bayer Makrolon® raw Polycarbonate material for our lenses. These lenses are lightweight and impact resistant.
CR-39 Lens
All of our Acetate and Wireframes use melanin infused CR-39 lenses. CR-39 lenses are like a balance between glass and polycarbonate.

All the goodness of polarized with the added benefits of hydrophobic coating, oleophobic coating, flash-mirror coating and anti-reflective coating.
Lens Coatings
All of our lenses are infused with health preserving melanin and have a hard performance coating. Our Pro Line, Sport Line, and Apex lenses offer additional performance lens coatings.
Hard Coating
A double-sided coating that reduces minor scratching. Offered as a standard treatment on all lenses.
Hydrophobic Coating
Life on the water or life in the heat often means your glasses get hammered with condensation. Our hydrophobic coating helps repel these elements and fights against water and sweat.
Mirror Coating
Cosmetic treatment applied to the exterior of the lens. Available in the Polarized Plus lenses.
Oleophobic Coating
Oil and dust have met their match. A double-sided coating repels sunscreen and more; smudges clean off easily.
Anti-Reflective
Reduces reflections off the back surface of the lens which increases contrast.
Anti-Fog Coating
Reduces fogging on the inside of lens. This coating is applied to all Winter Lenses. Cold weather, no fog, no problem.
